Anymaker Guides Hub
First-hour play, in-world building, survival, and launch planning in one map.
Anymaker is Geometa’s vehicle-and-survival sandbox on Steam, with Early Access scheduled for 18 September 2026. This hub is the map of every practical guide on the wiki. Use it to pick a reading order before launch, then return once you have hours in career or sandbox.
The game is not Roblox and it is not Stormworks 2. Building happens in the world on a fine grid of about 8 cm nodes, including diagonals. You stand next to a chassis, a wreck, or a house and work with tools, closer to an in-world construction toy than a separate CAD editor. Survival sits on that craft: hunger, wounds, weather, wildlife, undead, and remaining military forces. If you only want the engineering loop, sandbox is the planned safe table. If you want unlocks and danger, career is the long save.
First hour and the tool belt
Start with Getting Started for wishlist timing, Windows and DirectX 12 specs, sandbox versus career, and a first chassis that can actually move. Pair it with Controls so you understand the tool belt, the property tool, and the difference between editing a vehicle and walking on foot. Bindings live in settings; this wiki will not invent a default key table.
The closed-alpha first-look video on the getting-started page is useful even if you never opened the June demo. Watch how slowly people place beams before you try to copy a trailer truck in one sitting.
Building, engines, and logic
Vehicle Building covers edge versus panel, frames, wheels, doors, hinges, and reverse-engineering wrecks. Doors is the hinge-and-latch how-to: knuckle, pin, catch, handle. Engines and Wiring is the follow-up for fuel, cooling, belts, and cables — the reasons a pretty shell still will not start. Engine Builds uses a one-cylinder tractor as a teaching mill so you stretch a block on purpose instead of decorating a dead engine. Microcontrollers separates logic from cables and explains debug, step, and inspect so your first machines stay simple.
When Early Access arrives, Boats and Helicopters is the planning page for buoyancy, boat parts, jet engines, and rotors. Treat those systems as launch additions, not demo leftovers. Geometa has said complete details land with the 18 September build. Steam Workshop is the upload-and-share promise for that same day — not a library you can subscribe to yet.
Survival, bases, and the bunker
Survival is the flee-versus-fight page: hunger, night, weather, bears and wolves, undead, and loot unlocks. Base Building covers fortifying mountains, towns, forests, or shores, looting furniture, and testing destruction so you never assume the world is indestructible. Career Bunker frames underground military and research complexes as a career spike. In the Steam Next Fest demo (15–22 June 2026), finishing the bunker location caused tier 2 and 3 loot to spawn more widely — a lesson for long saves, not a dungeon map this wiki will invent. Map and Locations names town, research outpost, bunker, frequency cartridges, and NPC survivors without pretending this wiki has a full atlas.
Preview, ranks, and launch tracking
Preview separates trailer shots, closed alpha footage, the June demo, and the actual Early Access promises: sandbox with all parts unlocked, infinite supply, noclip, daylight, and no enemies; a map about four times the demo; boats and helicopters; new items, weapons, and components; and Steam Workshop. Rankings on this wiki are alpha- and demo-informed expectations, not a live-patch meta. Do not subscribe blindly when the Workshop button exists; inspect files in sandbox first.
Cross-check the Tier List Hub when you want those framed rankings, the Players Hub for co-op habits, the Updates Hub for Early Access, demo notes, and the roadmap, and the Tools Hub for system requirements and a build checklist. Official Discord, Reddit, and store links live on the Links Hub.
There are no redeem codes. Do not wait on a codes page. Geometa has said Early Access is planned for about a year, the price is planned to rise after that period, and the full version expands tools, parts, enemies, and places. Until 18 September 2026 the game remains upcoming. Read the guide that matches the job in front of you, then jump to a sibling page instead of rereading the same feature list.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Anymaker building, survival, and Early Access.
Which Anymaker guide should I read first?
Read Getting Started if you have not chosen sandbox or career yet. Jump to Controls if the tool belt is already confusing, or Preview if you only want trailer versus demo versus Early Access promises.
Has Anymaker reached Early Access yet?
No. Steam Early Access is scheduled for 18 September 2026. Track that date on the Early Access page. Do not treat alpha clips or the June demo as the launch build.
Does this wiki have codes or scripts pages?
No. Anymaker has no redeem codes, and this is not a Roblox title. Use Getting Started and the Links Hub instead of hunting for a codes list.
Where should builders go after the first chassis?
Follow Vehicle Building, then Doors if openings bind, then Engines and Wiring and the one-cylinder tractor. Keep Boats and Helicopters and Workshop for launch day.
I care more about not dying than about engines. What do I read?
Start with Survival, then Base Building, then Career Bunker. Map and Locations names demo-era sites without a fake atlas. The Weapons tier list is expectation ranking, not a live meta.
