Planning Tier List Hub

This hub is a planning board, not a ranked ladder. Anymaker is still heading into Steam Early Access on 18 September 2026. Nothing here is a live PvP meta, a patch gospel table, or a promise that Geometa will ship a particular chassis as “best.” We rank archetypes the way a workshop ranks jigs: what is easy to recover, what eats loot, and what looks strong only when parts are free.

If you came here looking for a competitive leaderboard, stop. Anymaker is a first-person building and survival game from Geometa, the studio behind Stormworks and Carrier Command 2. It is not Roblox and it is not Stormworks 2. Rankings on this wiki come from alpha and demo play, plus the public Early Access notes. Treat every S through C grade as an expectation you should re-test on day one of Early Access.

How we grade

We use a short letter scale so you can scan it on a phone:

  • S — default first pick for that mode. Cheap to fail, easy to repair, or uniquely good at a job the island actually asks you to do.
  • A — strong once you have the parts and a plan. Worth building after you have a runner.
  • B — high ceiling, high cost, or high uncertainty. Good in sandbox; risky as your only career vehicle.
  • C — do not start here in career. Fine as a second project, a base hauler, or a sandbox sculpture.

We do not invent hit points, torque numbers, or SKU names. When the demo only showed a shotgun in loot, we do not pretend a full firearms chart exists. When boats and helicopters are promised for Early Access but were not the demo’s daily loop, we say so on the vehicle ranks.

Career and sandbox need different lists. Sandbox at Early Access launch is meant to unlock every part, give infinite supply, noclip, daylight, and no enemies. A six-rotor crane that would bankrupt a career run becomes an S-tier toy there. Career still cares about hunger, wounds, weather, wildlife, undead, military remnants, and the underground facilities you loot to unlock more of the catalog.

What to open next

Start with chassis, then parts, then weapons. A pretty hull with no engine is a shed. A shotgun with no vehicle is a walk.

  • Vehicle tier list — ATV and side-by-side, short truck, boat hull, rotor craft, heavy base-hauler.
  • Parts tier list — engines, wheels, panels, electrics, fluids, and logic, ranked as categories, not fake catalog numbers.
  • Weapons tier list — melee versus firearms, ammo discipline, and what alpha loot actually showed.

If you have not built yet, pair this hub with the vehicle building guide and the build checklist. If you are still choosing how to spend the first hours after 18 September, read the Early Access launch notes and the getting started page.

What this list will not do

It will not tell you a “best engine.” It will not rank Workshop uploads you have not seen. Steam Workshop support is promised at Early Access launch; community vehicles will scatter these grades overnight. It will not invent redeem codes — there are none. It will not treat the roughly 29k Steam wishlists reported around 13 September 2026 as a skill ranking. That figure is only a storefront estimate.

When Geometa expands tools, parts, enemies, and places through the planned roughly one-year Early Access window, we will rewrite letters. Until then, use the lists to pick a first job: a small runner, a cargo truck, or a sandbox experiment, then go build it.

Cross-check survival pressure on the survival guide and the co-op hub if you are hosting friends. A C-tier hauler becomes usable when three people share repair duty; it stays a trap if you solo it with an empty fuel tank. After you pick a letter, walk the engines and wiring page so the chassis you ranked actually starts.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Anymaker building, survival, and Early Access.

Is this a live PvP tier list?

No. Anymaker is not a ranked competitive shooter. These letters are planning grades for career versus sandbox, based on alpha and demo play plus Early Access notes.

Why are career and sandbox ranked differently?

Sandbox at Early Access launch is planned with all parts unlocked, infinite supply, noclip, daylight, and no enemies. Career still spends loot on engines, wheels, and repairs, so cheap runners rank higher.

Will Workshop vehicles break these ranks?

Almost certainly. Steam Workshop is planned at Early Access launch. Treat uploaded creations as extra data, not as a reason to ignore a simple ATV on day one.

Do you publish exact engine stats?

No. Geometa has not released a public torque table, and this wiki will not invent one. Rank categories, then test the actual part in-game.

Where should I go after picking a chassis letter?

Open the vehicle ranks, then the build checklist and vehicle building so the grade turns into a running machine.
